We euphemistically refer to this school term as the "Spring" term. However, given that it covers January, February and March, and this year has...
I first started playing tennis when I was 5 and I loved it. I always wanted to be on court and this led me to eventually playing tennis 4 times a week! I got into my first county squad in my last year of red ball and then for the next couple of years I managed to stay dedicated and worked my way into the 10u county team, coached by our very own Tom Edis, (feeling older Tom?)
I then took a few years off from tennis in my teens due to persistent bouts of Glandular fever and when I was fully recovered I started to play tennis again and also began to be an assistant coach.
Now at 18 I am starting my new role as assistant coach at Halton, and I can't wait to grow as a player/coach and work with all ages from tots to rusties and help others to enjoy tennis as much as I do.
