A warm welcome to our new ‘Sunday’ coach – Deyan ‘Dido’ Stankov

Dido (pronounced ‘Dee-do’) is our new Sunday coach at Halton. Friendly and approachable and with over 20 years of coaching experience in three different countries.

He is extensively qualified as LTA Level 4 Senior Performance Coach as well as Maestro Nazionale by the Italian Tennis Federation and National Master Coach by the Bulgarian Tennis Federation.

Dido started off as a professional player winning Bulgaria’s Men State Championship and developed into a dedicated coach working with both high-performance players, currently competing in WTA tour as well as eager children and passionate adults, looking to improve their skills and technique or just to have some fun on the court!

Dido is passionate about developing talented competitors through an insightful combination of tactical, technical and psychological preparation as well as supporting adults with elevating their
game through improvements in technique, skills and fitness.
