The 2019 Tennis Congress took place in Tucson, Arizona from October 17th-21st. The Tennis Congress® was designed for amateur adult tennis players of all ages and levels (beginners through highly advanced) who are passionate about improving and reaching their personal best.

The idea is simple but new: to give adult non-professional players an inspiring, intensive, in-person opportunity to learn from the world’s top experts about all aspects of training necessary to advance to the next level (technique, movement, strategy, fitness, injury prevention, and mental conditioning)—using both on-court training and innovative and dynamic off-court techniques.

Dom was part of the faculty for the 3rd time and presented on topics such as Movement for Singles, Movement for Doubles, Acceleration and On-court Movement. He was also part of a team that carried out over 150 Racquetfit Screenings for athletes in attendance which looks to establish a link between physical issues and technical execution in the serve; Dom is the only Racquetfit Certified Coach in the UK at present.

Craig O’Shannessy, chief match strategist for Novak Djokovic and Matteo Berrettini, here giving an off-court presentation, was also part of the Faculty.

"It is an honour to be asked to be part of the Faculty for The Tennis Congress, alongside many Coaches and experts in the industry that I admire and respect. The athletes in attendance are so enthusiastic and passionate about their tennis and the opportunity to spend time with other coaches and discuss ideas is fantastic. The weather is pretty good too!”
